HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Warriors Baseball Academy will join forces with the Texas Premier Baseball organization in 2018. After accepting an invitation to join in late January, Warriors owner, Andy Baize, said this, “This is a game changer and we were blessed to be invited to such a prestigious league.”
Members of Texas Premier Baseball include some of the original showcase programs built in the state of Texas more than 25 years ago, as well as highly respected baseball programs that have since formed in the state of Texas in recent years.
Texas Premier Baseball was formed with the intent of providing an excellent baseball experience in the form of competition and player advancement opportunities. Their events are set up to maximize the opportunity for all players to be seen and evaluated by college coaches and scouts from across the country. Texas Premier Baseball has placed over 2,500 athletes in collegiate programs across the country and nearly 350 professional athletes.
The Texas Premier Baseball organization is made up of 15 teams across Texas including metropolitan areas such as Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. The Texas Premier Baseball roster for 2018 is as follows: Allen Baseball Club; Arlington A’s; Austin Slam; Austin Wings; Beaumont Gladiators; Dallas Mustangs; Dynasty Baseball; Fort Worth Cats; Houston C2 Select; Houston Warriors; Kyle Chapman; Premier Titans; South Texas Sliders; Twelve Baseball; Waco Storm
A few notable players who have came through the program include: Lance Berkman, Houston Astros; Hunter Pence, San Francisco Giants; Alex Bregman, Houston Astros; Andrew Prater, Pittsburgh Pirates; Corey Aldrige, Atlanta Braves; Hayden Howard, Oakland Athletics; Corey Kluber, Cleveland Indians; Tucker Pennell, San Diego Padres.
Membership in Texas Premier Baseball is a prestigious honor extended to programs that show a propensity to manage their coaches, schedule and overall operations with the best interest of their players in mind.
